Whistleblower
At Simatek, we want to act on the basis of principles of openness and cooperation, including that employees and business partners can express their views on objectionable matters. Whistleblowers can contribute to making the company aware of objectionable matters, without having to fear negative consequences. Simatek would like to promote this through the company's whistleblower scheme. Simatek's whistleblower scheme allows for the collection of reports suspected of serious irregularities or illegalities taking place under Simatek's auspices.
If you suspect serious irregularities or illegalities under Simatek's auspices, you can report your suspicions in our external and anonymous system here (D4Whistler). Reviewer will receive a confirmation within 7 days and feedback within 3 months.
What can be reported?
The whistleblower scheme is only for reports covered by the whistleblower act. It can be:
• Fraud, bribery, corruption or extortion.
• Accounting manipulation or cheating with invoices.
• Offensive behavior or harassment.
• Forgery, theft, embezzlement or fraud.
• Hacking, eavesdropping or data fraud.
• Violation of legislation or breach of confidentiality.
Circumstances such as dissatisfaction with salary conditions, cooperation difficulties, violation of internal guidelines and the like cannot be reported in our whistleblower scheme. In such cases, it is recommended to contact the immediate manager, HR, Working Environment Representative and/or Employee Representative.
It is also pointed out that Simatek has no obligation to follow up on reports submitted to the company's whistleblower scheme, which are not covered by the whistleblower act. Therefore, you will not be protected by the whistleblower act. However, Simatek may choose to follow up on the case, which is why the case will be transferred to the relevant party(ies).
Anonymous review
The whistleblower is anonymous and the report goes through an external third-party system - D4. Simatek does not allow any form of retaliation or harassment against whistleblowers. All information remains confidential.
The whistleblower scheme - a last resort
As a starting point, we recommend that our employees, business partners and other external persons use our normal management structures to report suspicions and concerns. In addition, we see that the whistleblower scheme is used for reports that are covered by the whistleblower act - and as an alternative if your suspicion concerns your closest contact person at Simatek - or you for other reasons feel comfortable reporting suspicions or concerns through the whistleblower scheme.
